I love the old Doom games as well. Haha, he has a little animal crossing keychain XD

It's really pretty. You should open your own art museum with all your models on display.

Very nice, love the old fashioned aesthetic.

Let me say this first; I feel most of the issues with this piece, I believe, will simply be worked out over time, but I will list them so you now what to work on. 1 when characters open their mouths, their jaw should drop; that's just how anatomy works. I can't remember the last time I saw someone's chin merge out of existence to make room for an open mouth. 2 (And I, also, am guilty of this second point too, sometimes)You tried too hard to hide the hands; now i understand some posses mean the hands will be out of sight, but there comes a point when it is obvious you are avoiding the hands (and I understand that as an artist you definitely put a lot of work into your pieces, but that doesn't stop it from coming across as lazy when you go to such lengths to hide the hands). If you really want to avoid hands and arms, maybe stick to drawing busts, but if you're going to draw a full piece like this, make it thorough. 3 your proportions seem slightly off. The man on the far left looks fine, but, if the two people on the concrete wall are kids, then dear goodness, you got some work to do. The kid with blue hair almost looks more like a midget than he does a young boy, though if you were going for six head proportions with him, then you at least got that right. The girl on the right looks child-like enough, but she seems to have 7.5 head proportions, which is for ADULTS. Kids should be at least 6 heads or shorter (you could argue that adolescent boys could be 7 heads tall, but I'm not going to go there). IN TERMS OF COMPLEMENTS; your colors are perfect, and you did the blurry background really well. The picture over all has a relaxing and cheerful atmosphere. And, one last thing, the bushes between the kids legs and the guy leaning on the wall, do not belong there; they are a logical fallacy, unless you had drawn them beneath the kids feet, and you didn't have the guy on the left leaning right through one, then they would have been fine. Otherwise your art seems to be making progress, and I hope to stumble upon your work sometime again, in the future, to see how you fair.

Tf do you mean practice!? THIS IS AN ACCOMPLISHMENT!

All those who brag that they can see through their third eye, got nothing on this guy XD. the detail on the face is really well done; I also really appreciate the flame-like effects in the background, BECAUSE FIRE IS HARD TO DRAW WELL!

Really think you should have given her some hair, but otherwise this is an amazing piece!

But bald chicks can be sexy too! :)
Thanks for the comment!

I had to tilt my laptop screen way back to see any of the details in this piece clearly, but it is still a beautiful piece, despite the fact it shines brighter than the sun; Good Job!

eatslugs responds:

Thanks :) I wanted to be super bright around her to keep the focus on her face, I like shiny!

Boober; so cheesy, but still made me chuckle. It's a great piece, but I really think you should have extended the background to cover top to bottom. I think that would have made things look a lot better.

Why are you looking at me, like that?... In all seriousness you done a great job; I like the old grainy look. Is the grainy look done by a filter?

Ruedefaux responds:

Thank you!
Most more advanced art programs like photoshop, csp, etc have noise filters you can generate, so i just made one and threw it on top :o

I draw pretty girls, and sometimes other things. You can find me elsewhere:
